Collaboration

Founder & Creative, Dante Nash On AVRA’s Creative Community

“The Connect is the heartbeat of AVRA—built on collaboration, fueled by talent, and strengthened by community. We believe in bringing together experts and budding creatives alike, giving them the space to flex their skills or refine them through real projects. Our strength isn’t just in what we can execute ourselves, but in the deep versatility of our network. If we don’t do it, we know someone who does—and that’s what you gain access to when creating with AVRA. More than just a platform, we are a thriving creative ecosystem, fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation at every level.

Happenings

Through The Connect, AVRA has successfully executed multiple free events designed to provide creatives in Milwaukee with meaningful spaces to gather, share, and create. Events like the Artwalk and Passion Project have not only fostered collaboration but also encouraged participants to embrace their passions while engaging with a broader creative community. These moments serve as vital platforms for artists, designers, and visionaries to exchange ideas and celebrate their work.

Beyond our own initiatives, we prioritize supporting and uplifting other businesses, artists, and creatives who are making an impact. Whether through sponsorships, attendance, or collaborative efforts, we actively contribute to the city’s growing creative ecosystem. Strengthening this foundation is key to ensuring that Milwaukee remains a thriving hub for artistic and professional growth.

As we look ahead, The Connect will continue to evolve, expanding its reach and influence while deepening its impact. Our goal is to foster lasting relationships, provide meaningful opportunities, and help shape the future of creativity in Milwaukee. By building a network of passionate individuals, we are laying the groundwork for a more connected and empowered creative community.

Why Connect?

The Connect isn’t just about learning—it’s about building. FOUNDER DANTE NASH MENTORS YOUTH, HELPING THEM PURSUE THEIR PASSIONS

Happenings

We’ve continued our commitment to student engagement through speaking opportunities and mentorship, proudly taking part in UW-Madison’s Digital Studies mentorship program in its inaugural year. This initiative was directly influenced by CreaConnect’s Creative Conversations, which helped shape the foundation of the program. Through this, we are actively mentoring senior students, guiding them as they transition into their professional careers.

AVRA, in partnership with King Drive BID, has been able to provide $500 in supply scholarships to students, supporting their creative growth and ensuring they have the necessary tools to develop their craft. This contribution reflects our dedication to investing in the next generation of creators and fostering opportunities for emerging talent.

Looking ahead, we are actively seeking new engagement opportunities and expanding our efforts to fund and enable future creatives in pursuing their dreams. Whether through mentorship, financial support, or new community initiatives, our goal remains the same—strengthening the creative landscape and ensuring a thriving future for the next wave of innovators.
