SHORT FILMThe Heartland is an award winning film that highlights both the joys and trials of growing up Black in the Midwest. Three Black Milwaukee residents confront & reconcile the unrequited love between them and their city.
AVRA played a dual role in brand strategy and assistant production for the film's success. Leading the creative direction and marketing efforts, we translated the personal narrative into compelling assets, attracting new viewers while preserving the film's authenticity.
