In this poignant narrative, a young and initially reserved Black boy (Quinton) finds himself plunged into darkness, his world forever altered by a disturbing revelation from his estranged father, Silk. This violent disclosure serves as a catalyst, propelling the Quinton onto an introspective journey of self-discovery. As he grapples with the shadows of this newfound knowledge, the narrative unfolds as a compelling exploration of the intricate intersections of family, identity, and forgiveness. The darkness becomes a crucible in which the young boy must confront not only the unsettling truths about his family but also navigate the intricate terrain of his own identity.
AVRA was placed in charge of crafting the final custom typography design for the film, blending script elegance with sans-serif classicism. Seamlessly aligns with the film's style, anchoring its visual identity. Along with crafting the poster deliverables that would go up both in theaters and digitally.
